The Best Rooftop Bar in NYC

I know it's a bold claim to call anything "the best" in New York City. So when I say it, I don't say it lightly. Hear me out...When I go to a rooftop bar it's for the view. You can get incredible craft cocktails all over the city, but the view is what sets rooftop bars apart. While I haven't been to every rooftop bar in NYC, I have been to many, and there are none that hold a candle to the views of New York City that you get at Nubeluz.

Nubeluz is on the top floor of the Ritz Carlton Hotel (NoMad) on west 28th Street and sits dead center in the middle of Manhattan right off Broadway. The majority of the bar is indoor, featuring floor to ceiling windows facing Lower Manhattan. There are covered patios on both sides giving you even broader (270 degree) views of the city.

For travelers who want a gorgeous view of New York City but do not want to stand in line and deal with the crush of tourists at an observation deck, (like the Empire State Building) an evening reservation at Nubeluz, sipping on a fabulous cocktail is the perfect alternative. You can expect to pay about $25 per drink. My favorite is the Salt Air Margarita; it's innovative and so delicious! I've booked this experience for many satisfied clients and taken my personal guests here as well. It's always a highlight of their time in the city.
